The Cooking Classes at Living Kitchen Farm and Garden are an experience which true food enthusiasts won't want to live with out. Our “on the farm” classes help bridge the gap between farmer and cook using only foods harvested and raised in our own garden as well as foods raised from other local farms. Our focus is on simple, fresh, local and seasonal recipes for the body the soul and the planet.
Our classes provide helpful skills in the kitchen and allow participants to develop an understanding about where our food comes from and how it relates to our community and to our overall health and well being.
Classes begin with a farm tour and harvest followed by a cooking demonstration and end with a shared meal. Most classes are hands-on in the kitchen and in the garden. Space is limited and classes fill quickly so register early. Groups are welcome.
